Wheel alignment is a mechanical adjustment of vehicle suspension to influence the direction and angle of the tire’s contact with the road surface. It refers to the direction your wheels are pointing, in all three dimensions. The optimum alignment for each make and model of vehicle is set by the manufacturer in order to influence the performance and handling. Wheel alignment is part of standard automobile maintenance that consists of adjusting the angles of wheels to the car manufacturer specifications.
