Welcome back to DOCU where I create biography documentaries of the most interesting celebrities in Hollywood. Today’s documentary is about Alexa Demie. Alexa was born on December 11, 1990. She’s most known for playing Maddy Perez in Euphoria and being an it girl. She’s also known for films like Waves, 19 on fire, mid90s, and Mainstream. She met Zendaya on the OA and found out about the role that would make her a star. She also met Jacob Elordi who plays Nate Jacobs and felt he’d get the part. She is the granddaughter of Dennis Wilson of The Beach Boys who adopted her dad, Scott Wilson Vanerstrom. She’s far from a nepo baby and didn’t have the same advantages of nepotism like Euohoria co-star, Maude Apatow, who plays Lexi Howard, younger sister of Cassie Howard played by Sydney Sweeney. Demie’s upbringing with a single mother, Rose Mendez, was rife with poverty, crime, and growing up near meth labs. Still, her family supported her ambitions of being a star. She is in a relationship with musician, JMSN and directs and stars in a number of his videos. She also has music of her own with songs like “A Girl Like Me” and “Leopard Limo.” Her first onscreen appearance was in Azealia Banks’ music video for ATM Jam.
