Bad Religion • Hollywood Palladium 1990

Описание к видео Bad Religion • Hollywood Palladium 1990

This is unreleased 34 year old footage of a full set I shot for Bad Religion May 10th, 1990. Hollywood Palladium, Hollywood California.

Video Louis Elovitz, and I arrive at Hollywood Palladium.
Bad Religions latest record "No Control" was just released the previous year in 1989.
Against The Grain was about to be released in November of 1990 after this was filmed.
Gary "Goldenvoice" Tovar greets us, and invites us to join him in his reserved balcony booth.
We talked about the influx of bands that just came through over the past five years like a title wave hit U.S. soil and how overwhelmingly mind blowing it was.
When I look back at it I think, what a time to be alive and around a tight music scene and how all the bands became one big family crashing on each others couches and floors just to tour.
We talked about new bands we loved, and up coming gigs Gary was promoting.
Then Louis gets the green from the band, and Gary asks me if I'm going to film? I thought Louis would be filming too, I replied, "I've got my brother's video camera, heck yeah!"
Gary then gives me the green light to film with a birds-eye view from his persoanl reserved balcony.
Keep in mind, VHS cameras in the 70's 80's & 90's were huge due to their tape compartment and battery pack.
I was 21, and this was the second time holding a video camera that size. I went in hand held. I started rolling, and Bad Religion went on ... 🎥 🔊🎶
