Here's a quick hands-on with the Oppo Air Glass 3.0.

The prototype assisted reality glasses was unveiled here at MWC 2024 in Barcelona. Oppo says the Air Glass 3.0 is the lightest binocular assisted reality glasses in the world.

Wearing the Air Glass 3.0 feels just like wearing a normal pair of glasses thanks to its light 50 gram weight. The transparent display, built into the lens, has an effective brightness of 1,000 nits.

Paired to a smartphone, you're able to view images, read messages, view navigation information all from the glasses. It's clear and bright.

To control the glasses, there's a couple of touch sensitive zones on the right stem. The glasses also pack a 4-mic array for voice commands and taking calls while the stems discreetly house speakers which are audible even in the noisy environment at the congress.

Being so light and compact, some sacrifices had to be made, specifically battery life. The Air Glass has a run time of only 30 minutes between charges.

At this point in time, Oppo has no plans to market the Air Glass.
