Protur Palmeras Playa Hotel

I stayed at the Protur Palmeras Playa Hotel in early June, and overall, I had a pleasant experience.

Location:
The hotel’s location is perfect, just a stone’s throw away from the beautiful Playa de Sa Coma. It’s also surrounded by numerous shops and restaurants, making it easy to explore and find dining options.

Entertainment:
The hotel offered entertainment every evening, which was enjoyable. However, there was no disco or music afterwards, which was a bit disappointing. I was hoping for a place to dance nearby but couldn’t find any good options. This could be improved to enhance the nightlife experience for guests.

Atmosphere:
The hotel was very quiet during our stay, likely because we visited while kids were in school. This resulted in a serene environment, though at times it felt a bit too quiet, with a noticeable number of elderly guests. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat, this is ideal, but if you prefer a livelier atmosphere, you might find it too subdued.

Facilities:
The hotel boasts a large swimming pool that was perfect for a refreshing dip. There is also a beautiful but small swimming pool on the roof, offering a more intimate setting. The rooms were very spacious and featured balconies that faced the main swimming pool, providing a lovely view and a pleasant place to relax.

Food:
The food at the hotel was good, though not exceptional. There was a special seafood event on Thursday which stood out and added a nice touch to the dining experience. Additionally, the Italian restaurant a la carte was a highlight of our stay, offering delicious meals that were a treat.

Overall:
Protur Palmeras Playa Hotel is an excellent choice for those seeking a quiet and relaxing holiday in a prime location. While the lack of nightlife options might be a downside for some, the hotel’s proximity to the beach, the quality of the food, and the excellent facilities make it a worthwhile destination.
