Goa Medical College & Hospital conducted Abhikhya - Prize Distribution Ceremony for the batch of 2020-21 & also felicitated HoDs of GMC as COVID warriors for their commendable service to the state of Goa during the Pandemic.

Present at the event were Hon'ble Health Minster Shri Vishwajit Rane as the Chief Guest, Vice Chancellor of Goa University Prof. Varun Sahni as the Guest of Honor, Dean Dr. Shivanand Bandekar, Council Advisor Dr. Savio Rodrigues and other dignitaries.

Health Minister Shri Vishwajeet Rane attended the Abhikhya programme organized by Goa Medical College & Hospital at GMC yesterday.
Prizes were distribution at the hands of Chief Guest for the batch of 2020-21 & also felicitated HoDs of GMC as COVID warriors for their commendable service to the state of Goa during the Pandemic.
Others present on the occassio were Vice Chancellor of Goa University Prof. Varun Sahni as the Guest of Honor, Dean Dr. Shivanand Bandekar, Council Advisor Dr. Savio Rodrigues and other dignitaries.
Addressing the gathering Health Minister Vishwajeet Rane applauded the dedicated work done by the health workers during pendamic period and complimented team Goa Medical College and Directorate of Health Services for their continuous efforts as regards to medication.
The Health Minister said, with positive approach the health sector is moving forward in right direction. And Goa is known for the best health care facilities at national level.
Chancellor of Goa University Prof. Varun Sahni also spoke on the occasion.
