Almost Perfect

This is almost perfect, given the conditions we were in when shooting. This was shot handheld from a moving boat in rapids. If you look behind the eagle as it approaches the water, you can see the current we were dealing with. Another interesting note is that while this video is about 2 minutes long, it is shot in camera at 8x slow motion, meaning that entire fly by only took about 15 seconds, so you can imagine just how fast that eagle was really moving and how fast the water in the channel was moving.

I admit the glide in is a little long, but I cannot get over how beautiful and graceful eagles are while gliding, and how the most subtle movements in the wings and tails set them up for the perfect fish grab.
