SUP Paddleboarding Caves, beginner distance and difficulty. South Devon.

Many of the places I post about with my Paddleboard require a certain level of fitness or skill to safely get to. And while these caves are only a short paddle from the beach, I still take my GPS BEACON, safety kit and means to contact land. The sea can change in an instant, even on a flat calm day, so be prepared at all times.

These small caves are West along the coast from Maidencombe Beach, there’s more beyond where I went but I got distracted by the seals and dolphins.

A beautiful, simple paddle for intermediate paddlers.

There are very often seals to see and I’ve been lucky enough to paddle, close up with dolphins in this are. Number of times.
