4: Ely NV to Big Rock Candy Mountain (Caboose Village) UT - Highway 50

The Grande Tour Episode 4.
Day 2, Part 2: Monday July 10th 2023

Having left the Nevada Northern Railway in Ely, I'm on my way to Caboose Village: part of Big Rock Candy Mountain Resort between Sevier and Marysvale in Utah. Quite a drive!
I see Ward Charlcoal Ovens (built in 1876!) along the way, and have a quick look at my caboose.
Most of this drive is along Highway 50, which is (the Nevada part at least) now as "America's Loneliest Road".

Next up: Two night in my Rio Grande caboose at Big Rock Candy Mountain, exploring the Marysvale branch of the Rio Grande!
