Notating a song requires understanding of Notes, Tala , Symbols used and lyrics. Once a song is notated the blue print is created. This helps students to get a clear idea of note patterns, the connection between notes and lyrics, connection between notes, lyrics and tala, and to a certain extent gamaka or feelings. In this video a simple demonstration has been given.
