In the last Scratch tutorial I said, that Scratch is very weak against teams and very strong against one person. At that time I didn't have any skill and experience in playing against players, which I clearly said, but I want to tell you about a few interesting and useful mechanics, which will allow you to destroy whole teams, maybe with a little help from your teammates.
For many heroes destroying drones is difficult and annoying part of the gameplay, that everyone must do to eliminate enemy's team. Drones have a very small hitbox and destroying them with heroes with low fire rate can be frustrating. That why your friends, trusted friends, can help you with destroying teams, and their drones.
But of course the previous video is up to date and you can still watch it for king of the hill tips.
The main game changer was upgrading Scratch to legendary tier, after which I could finally equip his weapon mods. I don't talk about weapon mods, but here - I must. These two, which I surprisingly had unlocked, increase Scratch's unaimed fire range, thanks what his red cone became enormously long. It made my life easier, and should yours. Both mods increase 9 fire range at common level, and I can't imagine what the fire range would be if I had these mods on higher level. There is one gear part, which does the same without giving debuffs, but not everyone have this part until the third episode of star pass.
The other thing, that is a game changer and I didn't notice before is shield ability. What's else so special in it? Well, one of the Scratch's passive says, that when the shield hits an enemy, hero gains +15% to movement speed and -15% to incoming damage, which is STACKABLE. This means, that the more enemies shield hits - the more confident you should feel to attack the team. What is even more surprising, that the shield, which deals 590 damage, gains +25% (about 150 more damage) after hitting anything - obstacle, enemy etc. It gives 600 damage to first enemy, 750 to second, 900 to third. But you can first hit any obstacle, so you will deal 750 to the first enemy and 1050 to the third. But the shield can bounce up to 7 times with six personal gears, which gives 1050 damage to the first enemy and 1500 to the third! Even one bounce before hitting the first enemy is enough to weaken the team, so you will be able to destroy it without hesitation. Sound deadly right? Well, it's not easy to do, but I'm sure, that if you practice well - you can make outstanding results. Watch some of my battles and focus on the shield.
A lot of people were asking me for Scratch's gearbuild. I use this one. It's probably not the best, More personal gears would be better, but I prefer this one, which decreases fire spread a lot. You can also equip vest, that increases maximum health instead of fire spread, the choice is yours. You can always ask people on the Discord for gearbuild or check gearbuilds of people in the Bravery Road or Leagues, I mean Arenas Leaderboard.
