The predecessors of countries can be open to interpretation. Some pre modern kingdoms or empires shown didn't necessarily have a flag as we think of it today either.

Errors:
Russia at it's largest extent, the USSR, should not have Istanbul.
North Macedonia's largest extent should be right now, not the Macedonian Empire.
Greece's largest extent should be the Macedonian Empire, not the Byzantine Empire.
