Originally renowned for its military applications, the kukri finds widespread use as a multipurpose tool in Nepal, proving invaluable for various tasks in fields and homes.

This exceptional blade has proven its worth in diverse activities, including building, clearing, chopping firewood, digging, food preparation (slaughtering animals, cutting meat and vegetables), skinning animals, and even opening cans. Its design allows it to function as a smaller knife when utilizing the narrower part of the blade near the handle, while the heavier and wider end, toward the tip, serves as an efficient axe or small shovel.
