This is my supposed male Brazilian Black Tarantula (Grammostola Pulchra), given to me by a former friend. They couldn't take care of their pets anymore so they gave me their whole tarantula collection after I pet sat for them. They said they got him as a sling and have had him for about 4 years and I have had him for like 7 months.

This is a new world terrestrial species that is quite docile. This species grows 6 to 8 inches. Male Brazilian Black Tarantulas live 6-8 years while females live up to 20 years.
