Christina Keysers, Team Manager of Green Team Twente, spoke to World Hydrogen Leaders CEO, Nadim Chaudhry, at World Hydrogen Congress, part of World Hydrogen Week 2023.

“We decided to go for building a hydrogen race car, which does not yet exist in the competition we
are participating in... The old race was about endurance so you really had to go as long as possible with as little hydrogen as possible but right now the formula student races are more an engineering competition and that means that we have dynamic events and static events. So it's not only about how fast the car can go and how fast it can accelerate, but it's also about how good a car is planned and how you built it , and how advanced it is, and how sustainable it is, and what the business plan behind it is."

Green Team Twente is a multidisciplinary student team consisting of 26 enthusiastic full-time students who are working together on one shared goal: "Creating a greener future by showing the world the possibilities of hydrogen and educating people about it." They do this by building a hydrogen race car and competing in the Formula Student competition as the only ones on hydrogen.
