The Fall of the House of Usher is a 2023 American miniseries loosely based upon the events described in multiple Edgar Allen Poe stories and poems. The series follows the rise and fall of the Usher family, their pharmaceutical business, and other wealth-building projects. The show received great reviews, Rotten Tomatoes reports that 90% of critics gave the series a favorable review, along with 80% of the audience.

Created by Mike Flanagin, Usher represents the fifth Netflix Flanagin horror series, featuring many of the same actors cast in various roles across each season, which gives his projects a consistent positive flavor. Each series is similar in content, tone, and style, and could thus, in my mind, be considered five individual seasons of the same contemporary gothic horror drama.
