How to Show a Demonstrated Interest in Corporate Law

Our guest speaker, Babette Schwartz, is a 3L at Hofstra University School of Law. During her law school career, she’s obtained significant work experience in various areas of corporate law, including participating in two internships with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, working for her law school’s federal tax clinic, and completing multiple Mergers & Acquisitions certificate programs. Babette discussed how she developed her interest in corporate and compliance law, and how she sought out relevant experiences in those areas.
