Drum Majors lead the combined Pipe Bands on the march back through Ballater at the end of the 2024 Ballater Highland Games. This was on Thursday 8th August 2024 and the bands were playing the tune Lochanside.

The leading Drum Major is Derek Dean, followed by Philip Michie, Rob Brownfield, Nick Stables and Andy Curwen. The combined pipe bands included Granite City Pipes and Drums with members of Lathallan school Pipe Band, Dufftown & District Pipe Band, Ellon& District Pipe band and the Gordon Highlanders Association Drums & Pipes. A few memembers of Huntly & District Pipe Band were also present.
