James Cropper have once again partnered with the Wainwright Prize. The link for us is really genuine, and obvious.

All books are made from paper, of course, and in fact many books use paper made by us in Burneside.

The second link for us is obviously very local, Alfred Wainwright and James Cropper are both associated with the English Lake District.

But, the most important link, is frankly, much broader. James Cropper and the Wainwright Prize are both in their own ways trying to take people on a journey to a cleaner, greener world.

We are trying to do that with our products, we’re trying to minimise our impacts, but also maximise the benefit of what we do. Whether its 100% recycled paper, or frankly, materials for the production of green hydrogen.

The James Cropper Wainwright Prize and all its authors and books are trying to open peoples’ eyes to what’s happening in the world. Think about nature, recognise what’s going on, and books that do that have never been more important.
