Join me on an unforgettable ski-doo adventure as we embark on the Polar Bear Express train journey with Buck Miller, transporting our ski-doos straight to Moosonee. Our goal? To conquer the rugged James Bay coast and reach the distant Cape Henrietta Maria, where the vast Hudson Bay opens up before us. Along the way, we planned to snowshoe into an old Hudson Bay Company trading post, immersing ourselves in the rich history of the area. However, challenging weather conditions tested our resolve as we navigated this breathtaking yet unforgiving landscape, home to over 1,000 polar bears.

Our expedition took us past Attawapiskat and Fort Albany, where the beauty of winter enveloped us. We camped out in a remote Cree goose camp, setting up our canvas tent amidst the snow-laden wilderness. This trip was not just about the thrill of the ride; it was a true test of endurance and spirit in the heart of the North.
