This was interesting. I did not fully read recipe beforehand and did not realize two things. The first was that the recipe said light ice cream. The second being that the Monk Fruit Sweetener was a sugar substitute. I initially chose this recipe based on the color and enjoy blue raspberry. I had a little bit of trouble with the blue food coloring mix, so moved on to the green one. We made the ice cream as per the ingredients and let freeze for 24 hrs. We made it the next day as our first lite ice cream button experiment.As you can hear the machine is extremely loud for about 2 minutes but then calms down.The verdict being... The consistency was very good and not too icy at all. The initial taste to me was amazing. After the video ended- we could taste what seemed to be a different/new taste to us which we guessed was the monk fruit sweetner. We finished it of course and it was definitely great- just a new experience for our palates! Of course we are extremely happy with the Ninja Creami and so far stoked on easiness of recipes. Only downfall is the 24hr wait.
