YES PLEASE - NC Flounder and Sheepshead Fishing

Описание к видео YES PLEASE - NC Flounder and Sheepshead Fishing

September is Flounder season here in NC and everyone is on the hunt. Too bad it takes one or two drops to get your one fish limit. Sheepshead and Black Drum have 10 fish limits so you can still have a fun day out on the water. I took another look at that first Flounder and I am sure that it was a Gulf Flounder as well, you can see three distinct spots when he is still in the water. I always seem to catch Gulf Flounder at that spot, odd. Get out there and be somebody.

16' Sundance Skiff, 30HP Mercury

Daiwa Saltist LD30H - Penn Carnage II 6'2"

Shimano Stradic 4000 - Fenwick HMG 7', Medium Fast

100 Pound Power Pro, 80 Pound Fluorocarbon Leader

43:2 Fishing Jawbreaker Jig

Catch Red Jointed Fiddler Crags in muddy marsh grass areas. I recommend wearing gloves so you can pick them up faster and sunglasses so you don't get poked in the eyes by the tall grass.

Catch Sea Urchins on pilings and other structure below the high tide line (WEAR GLOVES, the spines are non-venomous but can leave splinters and oyster cuts are nasty), I recommend using a crab net.
