Berry Tiramisù

Tiramisù is a classic dessert on the menus of many Italian restaurants as well in many Italian homes. It is certainly a favorite in our restaurants, but it is very easy to make at home as well, and I love it this time of year. It's actually best made a day ahead, to allow the flavors to combine. Any combination of berries—or even just one kind—will make a marvelous tiramisù. Here I show an extremely easy and fool-proof method using a combination of mixed berries with traditional Savoiardi cookies (Lady Fingers), and a creamy mascarpone custard. Yum!
