Leopold Stokowski made the first American recording of Stravinsky's "Petrushka" with the Philadelphia Orchestra in 1937. In later years he often conducted a Suite from the ballet, especially on his foreign tours. This performance featured in a 1967 television relay from Stockholm in which Stokowski conducted the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra.
