Angie Hilton from Destination Happiness shares how working on the show led her to discover that she has ADHD, or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. The diagnosis has been life-changing for her and her family. In the process of researching for stories on the show, Angie came across an online checklist for adult ADHD. She went along to get herself formally diagnosed and her suspicions were confirmed. After a trial of medication, her functioning improved dramatically. Angie feels she would never have had the impetus to create a TV show without the power of her ADHD. She loves the creativity and zest that the ADHD gives her and now can also experience the benefits of focus and concentration. Double bonus!
