Harmonica Grandpa Elliott New Orleans 10/2008 By Rich Teresi

My wife and I visited New Orleans in the fall of 2008. While walking at night through the streets of the Bourbon District area we heard music from a sidewalk player. It was remarkably eerie as it reflected and echoed off the surrounding tall buildings. He was sitting on a corner using a small amplifier playing the Harmonica. He was such a treasure, I had to tape it. Now I find out who he was....Grandpa Elliott. I recently purchased his album but was disappointed that it did not include this recording although I enjoyed his other songs. I hope some day he makes a audio recording of Shenandoah like this one. I am glad I was able to record it in stereo. I had previously uploaded this video on another of my accounts which I no longer use.
