In a meticulously executed joint operation, the Indian Coast Guard intercepted a Pakistani boat carrying narcotics worth approximately Rs 480 crores in the Arabian Sea, 350 kilometers from Porbandar. Utilizing intelligence inputs, the ICG, alongside the National Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and Gujarat Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS), coordinated a sea-air mission resulting in the apprehension of six crew members and the seizure of 80 kilograms of drugs. This successful operation marks the tenth interception by the ICG in collaboration with ATS Gujarat and NCB, totaling 517 kilograms of narcotics valued at Rs 3135 crores over the past three years.
