MALAYSIA'S LAST OVERNIGHT SLEEPER TRAIN! 🇲🇾🚆 KTM Ekspres Rakyat Timuran 27dn Tumpat→JB Sentral

The Ekspres Rakyat Timuran is Malaysia's last regular overnight sleeper train, a popular daily service between JB Sentral and Tumpat. It travels along the length of Peninsular Malaysia via the East Coast Line or more popularly known overseas as the Jungle Railway through the dense tropical rainforest of Malaysia and offering easy access to the eastern states of Pahang and Kelantan.

While the Ekspres Rakyat Timuran is Malaysia's last regular overnight sleeper train, it is not the only overnight train in Malaysia. There are overnight Ekspres Selatan and ETS trains, however, they do not have sleeping accommodation. Passengers spend the night fully seated. There are also seasonal or charter sleeper trains which are not regular, and operates only on selected days of the year, on one-off basis only, or if you charter the whole train by yourself.
