The movie follows high school student Alex Browning (Devon Sawa), who has a terrifying premonition of a plane crash moments before takeoff on a school trip to Paris. Panicking, he causes a commotion and is removed from the plane along with several classmates and a teacher. Shortly after, the plane explodes exactly as he foresaw.

Though they escaped D34th once, the survivors soon begin being unalived in bizarre and violent accidents. Alex (Devon Sawa) realizes that D34th has a plan, and by disrupting it, they've only delayed their fates. One by one, each survivor expires in the original order they would have perished on the plane. With the help of Clear Rivers (Ali Larter), Alex tries to decipher the pattern and find a way to cheat fate for good.


The movie has a great cameo by Tony Todd who passed away after his work on the 6th installment of the franchise better known for his role as Candy Man
