I always love going back to Gaynes Park, it may well be the venue I’ve filmed at most since I started filming weddings, and I always enjoy putting together a Gaynes Park wedding video. Natalie and Marc’s day was no different, I loved how relaxed their wedding was, and I really enjoyed their company on the day.

Gaynes Park is a great venue and it was looking immaculate for Natalie and Marc’s day. I arrived early to find some excited girls during the bridal prep, and some nervous boys during the groom’s prep. The weather was clearly playing on everyone’s minds, with a downpour expected to come just as the ceremony was to start.

We got lucky though; the rain passed and Natalie was able to take the long walk at Gaynes Park with her dad and without an umbrella. The rest of the day was a dream. the weather held off and Natalie and Marc celebrated on the lawns with their guests soundtracked by musicians Kyle Chater and Myke Clifford

One of my favourite moments of the day was as Natalie and Marc entered Gaynes Park’s Mill Barn, their guests all up, dancing and twirling their napkins. Natalie wanted this to be a joyful moment, and everyone got involved to create this. It was a brilliant sight. Much of the work was done for this moment by DJ Terry Lewis, and it was great to see him again, and it was great to work alongside Rebecca Louise Photography again who took some beautiful images and was good fun to hang out with.

I do hope Natalie and Marc, along with their family and friends, enjoy this Gaynes Park Wedding video, and I thank them both for their help and hospitality on the day.

Why did you choose Gaynes Park?
After getting a recommendation from Natalie’s best friend we booked to view Gaynes Park. We had viewed three venues previously and a few more booked in … All beautiful but couldn’t see ourselves getting married there. Gaynes park was the fourth and last venue we saw. From the drive way leading up to the venue, Natalie fell in love straight away. We walked around Gaynes Park on a cold January morning, trying to imagine it in Spring/Summer. Marc got the gut feeling quite quickly after seeing the walled gardens and walking down the long walk while speakers were playing music. It felt like us! We had a look at the honeymoon suite and other accommodation on the grounds, That’s when Marc said “Cancel the rest, This is the one!” A week later we brought our parents to view Gaynes Park, and they loved it as much as we did! We said yes there and then!!

Why did you choose me?
Natalie came across Philip’s videos after being tagged in a post with Gaynes Park. We just loved your style and how natural your work was.

What would be your number one tip to other couples planning their wedding?
1. Try not to stress out about things that are not in your control. Remember it’s your day! 2. Don’t feel like you have to go down the traditional route when planning your wedding. 3. Planning in advance, Natalie is an EA so everything has been planned since 2022!
