Bob Uecker, also known as Mr. Baseball the longtime voice of the Milwaukee Brewers, he was a staple of baseball and life. Uecker didn't get his start in baseball after his stint in the Army service, as Uecker signed a professional contract with his hometown Milwaukee Braves in 1956. With the Braves organization, Uecker played in the minor leagues. In his first season, he played in with the Eau Claire Bears in the Northern League and Boise Braves in the Pioneer League. Between both of the clubs, he hit 19 home runs, and later played for the St. Louis Cardinals. However, it was not his playing career that was memorable. It was his work as a comedian, a plantropist of the game of baseball, announcer for the Brewers, promotions for companies such as the Miller Brewing Company, and as the head announcer for the fictional Cleveland Indians baseball team in the movie, "Major League." His last game he ever called at the age of 95 years old, was the infamous NL Wild Card Game last year between the Brewers and Mets.

As a baseball fan, this was a devastating day as his legacy will live on forever, and his calls will be heard from one side of Wisconsin to the other as this was a heartbreaking day in the world of baseball, humor, and in life. I will post clips throughout the night remembering his legacy
