The DR Fishing Report - Week 2

Описание к видео The DR Fishing Report - Week 2

Welcome to The DR Fishing Report. Week two of fishing saw less time on the water. Managed to squeeze in two days of muskie fishing. One of the days was good with two fish in the boat a 36" and 45". Both fish came off the same structure a wind blow rock/ weed point located within a main lake narrows. The 36" was my girlfriend Shannon's first muskie on her second day of muskie fishing. I also participated in the Round lake annual Bass Fishing Tournament. Our boat placed second in the tournament which was a big surprise for me. We caught lots of fish, finding mostly smaller fish off shallower rocks and weeds. Our bigger fish came off deeper rock breaks and weed lines. During the tournament the bite was active during the morning but as the sun climbed and the wind died the bite decreased. We found that slowing down with unweighted Senkos on the deeper edges still produced fish for us, and although the volume was not as good in the afternoon, we found that our size was better. Next week I will be traveling to Georgian Bay for a 4 day New Moon musky hunt, so be sure to tune in for my next fishing report. I hope this was helpful. Thanks for watching, and I'll catch you later.
