This first chapter is dedicated in Honor of Admiral Cervera and those men who served under his command, who faced an enemy that outclassed them but still did not hesitate to go into battle.

The Infanta Maria Teresa Class of Armored Cruisers sunk in its entirety in the naval battle of Santiago de Cuba.
