Iftar sellers in this market open their makeshift stores hours before Maghrib Azan – the time when Muslims break fast.

From regular Iftar meals to tantalising delicacies there is no shortage of Iftar items in this Iftar bazaar which is believed to be nearly 400 hundred years old.

Besides its age-old legacy, what sets this market apart from other Iftar markets is the mood of festivity that prevails between both buyers and sellers.
