Sitting at the end of the stunning Nordfjord, nestling between snow speckled mountains; this small community is a haven of tranquil calm, nature, fresh air, and a glimpse into the landscape and life of rural Norway.

Early on a Sunday morning in July 2022, the cruise ship Balmoral arrived at the small village of Olden, and we went ashore to discover what the village could offer for a days exploring on foot.
