How to make a Plate Carrier - Super simple low profile vest for ballistic inserts - MYOG

Here I show you a quick and dirty construction of a simple plate carrier. So this is just the "pouch" for the ballistic inserts.
This low profile design is so easy to make, you could try to sew it by hand. But I will use the sewing machine. An industrial machine is not mandatory.

Materials are 560den Cordura in Concamo Brown. Some 2M buckles and some high quality webbing made in Germany.

This is not the only method to make a plate carrier. This can be done a lot more precise and with more attention to details. But then it quickly changes from "super simple" to "not that simple".
