With strong southeasterly flow and high moisture content in place, storms fired along the west central coast of Florida in explosive fashion. The initial focus of this timelapse was a developing shelf cloud, however nature decided to produce a storm merger that resulted in some fairly strong low-level rotation. This can be seen towards the end of the timelapse. More to come this week as easterly flow persists, although some drier air may work its way in, which will increase the instability and possibly lead to some stronger storms tomorrow.
