Gobelpower Battery Active Balancer Test. Better with or without?

For too long, we have demanded an active balancer in these batteries. Gobelpower is now the first manufacturer who actually installs such a device in their new batteries and it seems to be a bit of a step backwards.
The issue here is that this balancer is always turned on and active. We know from previous tests (links below), that this can cause imbalance, so the exact opposite of what the balancer is supposed to achieve.

In this test, I do a full charge cycle of the battery with the balancer connected and one cycle without any balancer at all. Which will deliver a better result in terms of balancing?
