British Moroccan award-winning cinematic songwriter, self-taught pianist, vocalist and composer ELATRASI returns with electrifying power and raw emotion as she reveals her latest single ‘Lighthouse’ - released on Friday 1st March - the lead single of her debut EP supported by Youth Music.

Receiving a late neurodivergent diagnosis, Lighthouse shines as a beacon of hope and celebrates her identity as a neurodivergent and invisibly disabled woman. Strength and confidence underpin this release as she is determined to shine visibly for those who often feel unseen, unheard or have ever felt the need to hide their true selves away. Lighthouse is intended to inspire and motivate listeners during their darkness moments to keep going.

Previously celebrated as ‘One to Watch' from BBC Introducing and received international recognition as an award-winning songwriter, the past year has seen ELATRASI develop her creative practice with industry support from Youth Music Next Gen Fund, Help Musicians x The Ivors Academy Co-Pilot Mentoring and Abbey Roads Studios who took particular notice to Lighthouse.

Lighthouse has already been supported by Kerrie Cosh on BBC Introducing Northampton - comparing her sound to the comfort of London Grammar and Florence - as well as HOE.ZINE and BUZZ Music LA. ELATRASI has been invited to perform her first official showcase at Sofar Sounds curated by The Ivors for International Women's Day. She was recently invited to Abbey Road Studios who took notice of Lighthouse. ELATRASI dreams to make music for sync, film and tv.
