Dave Shellnutt is managing partner of the Biking Lawyer LLP, a law firm dedicated to helping injured cyclists and other vulnerable people across Ontario. While the Biking Lawyer team helps individual cyclists, their goal is to support the broader cycling community as well. From founding the Toronto Bike Brigade to changing how police handle dooring cases, the Biking Lawyer LLP is here to help.

Know Your Rights Workshop

At the Biking Lawyer LLP our mission is to educate cyclists about their rights and raise awareness about what to do if you’ve been in a collision. We encourage prevention and safe cycling but want people to be empowered should something unfortunate occur. In our Know Your Rights workshop we highlight critical steps to take post-collision, and answer cycling law and rules-of-the-road questions from participants.

We are very excited to have our friend and colleague David Isaac of Lerners LLP join us and add to the conversation.
