This May, Sydney will welcome URBNSURF Sydney, the city's first-ever surf park, promising to revolutionize aquatic entertainment. With an investment of over $75 million, the park is projected to significantly benefit the local economy, expected to add a net economic value of $250 million to the Sydney Olympic Park area over the next twenty years.

Located strategically within the Sydney Olympic Park Precinct, the 3.6-hectare facility will feature a lagoon as expansive as the Sydney Cricket Ground and can accommodate up to 1,000 visitors daily. The park will utilize advanced Wavegarden technology to generate perfect waves suitable for all surfing levels, with up to 12 perfect waves possible per hour-long session.

URBNSURF Sydney will be equipped with comprehensive amenities including a Surf Academy, a leisure swimming pool, a skate pad, and a health and wellness center. Culinary needs will be met by two food outlets operated by Applejack Hospitality—RAFI URBNSURF and Sandy’s. Additionally, a Rip Curl retail store will offer premium surf apparel and equipment, further enhancing the surfing experience.
