In an attempt to one up the United states, the Soviet Union set out to create a bomb of unparalleled power. What they came up with was too strong to realistically test so it was scaled down. Even in it's lower power state the bomb was orders of magnitude larger than anything anyone else has tests before or since.

This is just one of many rather crazy cold war concepts we will be exploring.
