This is video #081 in my playthrough of Final Fantasy IV for the PC. This is episode 41 of the second playthrough. I am playing on Hard mode.

Previously, the party finished collecting Onion gear with the Onion Helm and Onion Shield. Then, they began collecting hidden monster summons. They have acquired Mindflayer and Cockatrice for Rydia. Now, they will work on collecting the other two.

Overworld:

The party resumes on the Blue Planet Overworld outside of Baron. Next, they will go for the Goblin summon. Naturally, Goblins appear around Baron, but there is a better place to call them with Sirens.

The party takes the Enterprise northwest to the Mist Cave.

Mist Cave (time 0:53):

Just inside the Mist Cave, the party uses Sirens to encounter troops of Goblins. This is the most certain way of encountering Goblins.

After a few battles, the party earns the Goblin item, an ultra-rare drop (time 4:05). It actually took me many takes to get it.

After the battle, Rydia uses the Goblin item to learn the Goblin summon. Just one more hidden monster summon left!

The party leaves the Mist Cave.

Overworld (time 4:44):

The party flies the Enterprise to the Lunar Whale, parked near Mysidia. After resting, they take off for the Moon.

Lunar Surface (time 6:00):

The party enters the Lunar Tunnel - West.

Lunar Tunnel - West (time 6:57):

They go through the tunnel and take the northern exit.

Lunar Surface (time 7:14):

The party goes southeast and enters the Lunar Tunnel - East.

Lunar Tunnel - East (time 7:26):

In the Lunar Tunnel - East, the party targets Balloons and Dark Grenades for the Bomb item. Using Sirens will not work because they only call Abyss Worms. However, Balloons and/or Dark Grenades are in many of the enemy groups in this tunnel.

After some time, the party receives the Bomb item (time 20:36). Yay!

Rydia uses the Bomb item to learn the Bomb summon. The player earns the Steam achievement "Expert Summoner" for learning all the hidden summons in the game. There are only four, thank goodness.

Afterwards, Rydia begins showing off all the Summons in the game.

Partway through this process, they exit south to the Lunar Surface.

Lunar Surface (time 26:42):

Rydia finishes showing off the game's Summons. Naturally, some are better than others. Bahamut is the strongest.

Afterwards, the party enters the Crystal Palace.

Crystal Palace (time 35:05):

After recovering, the party takes the teleporter on 2F into the Lunar Subterrane.

Lunar Subterrane (time 35:49):

The party takes the direct route from floor B1 to floor B7. On floor B7, they save in the save room.

Next time, they will confront Zemus and conclude the second playthrough.
