Using Lion-Man in The Desert's water tunnel actually leads to the Lizard-Man Unknown! This one is kinda tough because Lizard-Man is weak, but it is designed around Lizard-Man and its not nearly as hard as Mouse-Man's platforming.

After doing this Unknown, we revisit the Old Castle using Hawk-Man to acquire the Legendary Sword and Legendary Armor.

Once you acquire the Legendary Sword, if you Quit to Title and return to that chest you get around 3000 coins, making this a really fast grinding method. I don't discover this in this video, though.

Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap is an Indie remake of the original Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap. The game is a direct sequel to Wonder Boy in Monster Land, where Wonder Boy defeats the Meka Dragon but is cursed into the form of a Lizard-Man. Now Wonder Boy must travel the world to undo the curse while getting cursed into many other forms as well.

The Dragon's Trap is the inspiration behind Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom. This version of the game also has a female protagonist you can choose to play as instead of Wonder Boy.
