2017 was a challenging year to chase, most storm chasers will agree. I live in New Zealand, a long way from great plains of Tornado Alley, and this year I really wanted to maximize my time in the states. Out of the 30 days I committed to the trip, I gathered time-lapse footage worthy of sharing on less than twelve. It was a bit disheartening, but there's not much you can do to change the weather!

On the bright side, we persisted, chased hard and were spectacularly rewarded on the days that mattered. We got to see some absolutely incredible places around the USA during our downtime.
