In this final instalment of our three-part series for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, you’ll learn to load, edit and save Logitech Pro Flight Yoke profiles, map every button and axis, and troubleshoot common issues. 😊

🌟 What You’ll Learn

1. 🖥️ Launching the Flight Yoke System
🖱️ Open via the system tray icon or by running `ST.exe` from `C:\Program Files\Logitech\Flight Yoke System`.
📋 Navigate the Programming interface: Open, New, Save, Save As, Views, Profile, Test Profile and Print.

2. 📂 Managing Profiles
📥 Load the supplied “2024” profile or start from a fresh Blank template.
💾 Save profiles into organised subfolders (e.g. `Temp/Blank`), then access them quickly from the tray menu.
🔄 Switch Views: toggle between Product and Grid to see either a list layout or a compact grid.

3. 🎮 Basic Button & Key Programming
❌ Clear Existing Commands: Right-click a button (e.g., Mode 1, D) → Unprogrammed.
⌨️ Assign New Keystrokes: Left-click, wait for the flashing cursor, press your desired key (e.g., Scroll Lock), then click the ✓ to confirm.
🏷️ Label Buttons: Add a descriptive name (“ATC”) so you know what each button does at a glance.
✅ Test Profile: Verify in real time—button press shows key down/up events for troubleshooting.
🖨️ Print Your Layout: Use the print icon to generate a hard copy of your current mapping for easy reference.

4. 🔧 Advanced Customisation
🎛️ POV Hat Remap: How to Map the four-way POV commands.
🎚️ Z-Axis as Buttons: Convert the lever axis into two discrete commands (e.g., Anti-Ice On / Anti-Ice Off) via Directional Axis mode.
📋 Command List Management: Right-click any button → scroll through the built-in list to reassign and Delete unused commands.
⭐ Save Confirmation: An asterisk next to your profile name indicates unsaved changes—click Save to remove it.

5. 🛠️ Troubleshooting Tips
❓ Missing Tray Icon: If the Flight Yoke System icon vanishes, re-run `ST.exe` or reboot your PC to restore it. 🔄
🔍 Active Window Focus: Ensure MSFS is the active window before testing commands, or custom keystrokes will be caught by the programming interface instead of the simulator.
🔄 Clearing & Reloading Profiles: Right-click the tray icon → Clear, then reselect your profile to reload settings on the fly.
