Alanis Morissette "Ironic" Hendrix Style Guitar Lesson 🎸 ( No Capo)

Описание к видео Alanis Morissette "Ironic" Hendrix Style Guitar Lesson 🎸 ( No Capo)

In this guitar lesson I will show you how to play a Hendrix style arrangement of "Ironic" by Alanis Morissette. We will be using triads, chord inversions, 6ths and double stops to play the vocal melody and rhythm guitar parts at the same time. The right hand finger picking is really what makes this sing and pulls out the melodies from the chords. For the chorus we will switch to the pick and mostly play the vocal melody using triad inversions while also blending in some of the rhythm guitar part. The bridge chords are a bit awkward to play since the original song uses a capo, but I found a way to make it work in standard tuning while still sounding like the recording. I've always loved Alanis Morissette's debut album "Jagged Little Pill." It's very unique and has so many great songs on it. I actually learned the definition of irony as a kid from listening to ironic. Until next time, practice with a beat and have fun! ‪@borderlineguitarguy‬
