This is an appetizer, an introduction pointing to the more in-depth presentation I will make on the topic of Divorce and Remarriage. In this I just went over what Jesus said in the gospels in an effort to keep it as short as possible. I intended to go over a few of the most important passages from Paul the apostle in 1 Corinthians 7, but will do that in Part II that will be quite in depth. I laid out the plan for Part II around the 10 minute 15 second point.

I present a theory here regarding Matthew 19:9 that is based on early church historical writings called the Ante Nicene Fathers, but only in brief, and will go into much deeper evidence for my claim in Part II. To my knowledge, no one has ever presented such a theory. I have presented it on Facebook before and it got a lot of attention. Moreover, translators, pastors, theologians in general, are disturbingly silent on the fact that many of the oldest NT Greek manuscripts we have in various Codices (Codex is a book)... DO NOT not have the EXCEPTION CLAUSE and therefore no allowance for Divorce and Remarriage for ANY REASON. Lastly, no one in the Ante Nicene Fathers collection speaks of an Exception Clause that could convey the idea that everyone just ignored it or chose to be silent about it. But anyone that lives a godly life and reads their writings will see, they never did that in any area, but were honest, men encouraging honesty or be condemned they would say. Their silence on this issue, conveys the idea that these manuscripts we have now that did not have an EXCEPTION CLAUSE would seem to be what they had, based on what they said.
