In this video we are going to demonstrate the data acquisition, 3D model build process and overlay of slope monitoring data for slope stability analysis, geotechnical risk management and design optimisation.
We will first showcase examples of 3D "mega-models" built to date of large open pit mines from Australia, Papua New Guinea and South Africa using Rocscience’s Slide3 and RS3, 3D limit equilibrium and finite element numerical modelling software. For these examples we will talk through the model build process and how we can assist you in identifying geotechnical risks and optimisation opportunities, which were not as readily apparent from traditional 2D analysis. Integration with photogrammetry and slope monitoring systems.
