This video is from a few months go when we were still at the st pete motorcycle shop, but today we were able to get the final numbers and show you what this Tenere 700 can produce on the dyno! This particular motorcycle is made for trail riding and offroad use which means we're targeting a different rpm range when it comes to tuning. The type of tune we focus on really depends on the style of riding you intend to do. For this project, we're installing a Yoshi RS-12 exhaust and a Sprint T12 Air Filter specific to the Yamaha Tenere. These few things will help the bike breath better which will result in better overall performance. Even the tires that this bike have, are intended for more of an offroad enduro style of riding. Even with the main focus being trail riding with this motorcycle, the rideability on the street will be much better as well. Now, when looking at the Yamaha Tenere 700 factory specs and power ratings and comparing them to the final ecu flash and dyno tune numbers it may seem like a small change, but it's important to remember we're looking at the rate of change more so than the final hp numbers. While this bike doesn't make a ton of power compared to the race bikes we usually have on the dyno, these numbers are fantastic for this style of motorcycle and the intentions for riding it.
